Every Shepherd needs spiritual mothers and fathers behind them.

Without this support, they end up leaving the field. Halo sets tables for mothers and fathers to gather around the next generation of shepherding leaders.
While sharing this vision with a friend from the UK, he recalled a tradition from his youth. When a group of older shepherds in his region would gather to intentionally train younger ones, they’d call it a halo. A circle of experienced voices gathered around the next generation. Not to manage them…to prepare them.
Halo is made up of three movements. We catalyze a Romans 8:19 heart, calling on sons and daughters of God to step into what they’re made to do. We connect them to kingdom principles, resources and relationships that shape their lives and leadership. And we care for them spiritually, physically, and emotionally until they’re healed, free and resilient.

These five prayers capture the heartbeat of Halo

  1. Reveal yourself to me.
  2. Make me like Jesus.
  3. Fill me with love for people.
  4. Surround me with a Spirit-led community.
  5. Consecrate me for the work.
Halo doesn’t replace the local church. We’re a distributed network of shepherding leaders who own the work in our local contexts. Halo provides frameworks, catalytic energy, and connection across the network. But the church stays primary.
